Possible Community Service Event: Clean Up Australia Day
Last week we discussed the possibility of becoming involved in Clean Up Australia in our local community.
Here's the process -
Step 1: Choose a location nearby that requires a clean up. Ideal considerations are streets, parks, bushland and river banks.
Step 2 ; Register online.
Step 3: Spread the word and get ready to make a difference.
Invite volunteers.
Use the Clean Up Australia free materials such as posters and social media tiles.
Step 4: Appoint a club member to oversee the project.
NB; A less desirable pathway (if we chose not to register our club) would be to search
cleanup.org.au and piggyback onto an event happening near us.
